About
The Viking culture was a major influence on nearly every European society. Their knowledge and influence can still be seen to this day. Join a group of re-enactors who will bring Viking culture alive for you. Dedicated to doing and making things in the traditional Viking manner, this group is eager to share their knowledge about clothing, leather work, music, weaponry, and battle tactics. The Viking camp will be set up next to the palisades of Fort Dauphin, so there will definitely an opportunity for time travel. This is living history and is meant for all ages.
Organizer
Dauphin Culture Days Committee
Dauphin Culture Days is put on each year by the creative folks at the Watson Art Centre, the Dauphin Public Library, the Dauphin Art Group, Countryfest Community Cinema, and just about any other creative person or group we can cajole into playing along with us. We know that creativity is at the heart of humans of all ages and our goal is to get our town to create, participate, and share.
