About

Join Minoru Chapel and City Centre Community Centre Artist in Residence Julie Hammond for a soundwalk in and around Minoru Park.

A soundwalk is a guided walk where the focus is on listening to the sounds of the environment around you. We will experience natural, man-made, and unexpected sounds, and conclude the walk with an activity to share and document participant discoveries. No prior experience required!

Organizer

Julie Hammond

Julie Hammond is a theatre maker, instigator of public projects, and the 2019 Artist in Residence at Minoru Chapel and City Centre Community Centre where she is creating Minoru Manifesto. She creates in collaboration with peers, students, non-artists, and spaces, and uses her background as a theatre artist to make projects that do not always look like theatre.
