Physically Distanced, Community Strong: Telling Halton Hills COVID-19 Story
Browse and contribute to a very special community-built collection of photos that documents the response to COVID-19 in Halton Hills. These photos, which capture an unprecedented time in local history, are part of a digital archive project that will be available to future generations. There are already dozens of images that depict the shifting phases of a 'new normal' in 2020. Please share your photos (JPG, GIF or PNG files) and stories using the link below! Don't know what to share? Here are some ideas! HHPL is asking for photos of: • Your temporary work or school situation; • Front line responders in action; • A good Samaritan delivering groceries or making homemade masks; • Positive messages written on the sidewalk in chalk; • Thank you signs for front line workers; • How you are spending your time or new hobbies; • Usually busy streets now empty; • Store lineups; • Your favourite store or restaurant closed or providing a different service; • And other images of daily life.
This event is free.
