About

Come to The Hub on Ross for a glimpse of what the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, central Alberta's only professional performing arts organization, is all about! The Lily String Quartet, comprised of musicians from the RDSO, will celebrate multiculturalism through the performance of diverse musical selections from around the world.

Organizer

RDSO

Established in 1987 by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic music lovers, the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra Association has grown into becoming Alberta's only professional performing arts organization.

Skillfully led by a volunteer Board of Directors, the RDSO is a community-oriented organization that is dedicated to inspiring appreciation for art and culture in central Albertans through our high calibre performances and public outreach programs.

Celebrating 30 years as our Music Director in 2020, Maestro Claude Lapalme sets the artistic and musical direction for the orchestra's journey while the RDSO musicians do the important work of bringing the music to our community. The sustainability of the RDSO relies on the continued support of its members, volunteers, staff, musicians and community, in addition to multiple local, provincial and national funding agencies.
