About

Discover our exhibitions, music and art classes and activities for the young and the young at heart at PoMoArts Art 4 Life Open House. This is an all age’s family event on Saturday October 1st, 1:00 – 4:00 pm

From fun art to fine art, families will love this engaging exhibition, along with art demonstrations and samplers of PoMoArts visual arts, ceramics and music programs.

The Art 4 Life Open House includes art and activities by exhibiting artists from 18 to 100 years, exploring themes in their work that would appeal to young people. The goal is to cultivate artistic growth in our community by inspiring and engaging children, while raising opportunities for active participation and discussion, as well as lessons on cultural and environmental awareness and art appreciation. The benefits of an arts education affect every area of life and we want it to be a lifelong journey.

The exhibition is open daily Sept 15 – Oct 30, 2022

PoMoArts

PoMoArts (formerly Port Moody Arts Centre) is a not-for-profit community arts education facility and contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Port Moody.

Committed to develop, promote, and celebrate positive arts experiences in The City of the Arts, the centre is run by a dedicated team of staff, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and home to over 30 experienced instructors.

We offer classes for people of all ages and experience levels to explore their creativity in a variety of artistic disciplines. More than 300 classes are run annually in visual arts, ceramics, theatre, digital media, and much beloved children’s camps, as well as private music lessons.

Our gallery showcases the work of emerging and established artists through professionally curated exhibition program. PoMoArts is dedicated to nurturing artistic talent through our Ceramic Artist in Residence program, annual Kwi Am Choi Scholarship, and Emerging Visual Arts Endowment Campaign. We offer a space for local Artisans of the Blackberry Artisan Society through the blackberry gift shop.
