About
The 3rd Annual Gimli Red River Métis Day is a celebration of Métis culture, heritage, and community spirit. Taking place at the Gimli Pavilion and grounds, the event brings together live entertainment, Indigenous artisans, food vendors, cultural demonstrations, and family-friendly activities for a vibrant day of sharing and connection.
This year’s entertainment lineup features Métis rapper Nucky JMC, Métis fiddler Morgan Grace, Kinew Youth Dancers and returning crowd favourites Eddie Fleury & the Breeze, and Dean & Marilyn Davis. The artisan and vendor market will highlight the creativity of Indigenous and local makers, offering handcrafted goods, art, and Métis cultural items. Guests can enjoy traditional and contemporary foods, children’s games, and interactive demonstrations that bring Métis traditions to life.
Through music, art, food, and cultural sharing, the 3rd Annual Gimli Red River Métis Day continues to honour Métis culture while creating a welcoming and dynamic space for community members and visitors of all ages.
