Join us for a night of celebration! Featuring Play It Loud! a Canadian Documentary about the impact Jamaican immigrants from the 1960's have had on Canada's music and culture. This documentary follows artist like Jackie Mittoo, Wayne McGhie, and Jay Douglas. These men lead an electric music scene in 1960's Toronto, whose impact is still felt six decades later.

After the screening we will have entertainment, Jamaican food, music and so much more!

The Yorkton Film Festival

The Yorkton Film Festival is celebrated as the longest running film festival in North America, starting back in 1947. During the year, we have 5 OPEN CINEMA days from October and November along with January, February, and March. This Culture Days event is our first of these screenings.
