About

Workshops with facilitators and public artists from North Vancouver will address how public art is made, what its challenges are and what we can consider when we discover a work of art in our own travels.

Organizer

Griffin Art Projects

Griffin Art Projects is an art gallery in North Vancouver established to make the visual arts publicly accessible and to contribute to North Vancouver's cultural landscape. Founded by Brigitte and Henning Freybe, who began collecting art in the early 1970s, Griffin Art Projects presents curated exhibitions of contemporary art from private collections, free to the public. Through scholarly exhibitions, events, and publications, the Griffin builds on the strength of contemporary collecting in our region, the importance of historical preservation, and the desire to share these artworks with a broader public. To do this, we work with established cultural producers, artists and art educators in the region.
