We are celebrating the diversity and vibrancy of the Nigerian Fashion scene.

We will show you the richness of African prints such as Ankara, Adire, Aso-oke, Otogwu and George. We will take you on a journey of how fashion in Nigeria has come full circle from our grand parents to our parents to us and now to our children in Canada! We will talk about what we wear to Nigerian events. Do you know that global celebrities have been photographed wearing clothes by Nigerian Designers? Nigerian fashion has gone global!

En_Vogue_Afrika, an online African Clothing Fashion store inspired from the roots of Africa will showcase Aso-oke a hand-woven cloth created by the Yoruba people of West Africa, Nigeria; Adire (Tie & Dye), a resist-dyed cotton cloth, made in Abeokuta, Southwestern Nigeria; and Ankara, also known as African Wax Print a 100% wax cotton fabric with vibrant patterns.

• Organized the Oakville Nigeria Culture Days 2018 - A Rich Celebration of the Nigerian Culture.

• Co-organized a #BringBackOurGirls rally in Toronto

• Worked with First Nations Children in an Attawapiskat elementary school

• Providing ongoing supplies to people who identify as homeless in the GTA

• Worked with Syrian Refugees in Hamilton and People (IDPs) displaced by the Boko Haram Terrorist group in Nigeria

• Taught Financial Literacy to youth in the GTA

• We have an ongoing sponsorship of children in IDP camps in Nigeria through elementary and high school

• Participant – Halton Equity and Diversity Roundtable

• Collaborated with the Canadian Black Chamber Of Commerce (CBCC) to ensure youth participation in The Economic Club of Canada & The Global Institute for Conscious Economics’ Conversation with Barack Obama
