About

Join us to do dances from many cultures and countries, from Albania to Tahiti, Bolivia to Romania, Bulgaria to Israel, Canada to Greece, and dances from many other countries. Everyone is invited to participate! We will teach and lead you in circle dances, set dances, and mixers that everyone can try and we will demonstrate some more complicated dances. Come on your own or bring friends, and wear comfortable clothes and shoes for dancing. Light refreshments will be provided.

We are a recreational dance group. We meet Friday evenings from September-June to dance, socialize, and get some exercise. Each week we teach a few dances from about 8:30-9:30, followed by open request dancing from our large repertoire of dances, until 11:00. We do a lot of circle and open circle dances from eastern Europe and the middle east, as well as set dances and couple dances from western Europe and North America, along with dances from many other countries. Everyone is welcome. All of our teachers are volunteer members of the group. We have occasional party nights, and one or two workshops with expert guest teachers. The cost for the evening is $4 for members, $5 for non-members (except for our free open house). Annual membership is $5. Sometimes we offer extra beginner classes if there is enough demand.
