About

The Hummingbird Project is an art exhibit featuring eighteen artists from Saskatchewan and Alberta. The philosophy of the project is for artists who have suffered a major trauma to create a work of art which represents a moment or a feeling or an aspirational future where they are free of the trauma. The pieces come in many mediums: two dimensional, three dimensional, oil, acrylic, watercolour, beadwork, multi-media, paper, each an instance of light against the darkness
