About
What does art mean to you? - Latch-Hooked Grand Culture Logo" is an engaging, hands-on art project inviting community members to contribute to a large-scale latch-hooked rendition of the Grand Culture logo.
Participants will be provided with pre-cut pieces of colored cloth, corresponding to sections of the logo design. They will be invited to write on their cloth piece "what art means to them" before learning the simple latch-hooking technique to integrate their contribution into the collective artwork.
This project celebrates individual expression within a collaborative framework, culminating in a vibrant, community-made art piece that visually represents the Grand Culture brand and the diverse perspectives on art within the Brant Region. The activity is designed to be accessible to all ages and skill levels, promoting cultural participation and creative dialogue during Culture Days.
