About

Since we can't gather in-person we've created a series of virtual mini-talks by museum staff about our temporary exhibit, "Painting Picnic with Prudence Heward".

Each episode features details on different aspects of the exhibit, some focus on "the making of" while others expand on content, such as Heward's style.

The exhibit, "Painting Picnic with Prudence Heward" brings together for the first time, works by famed Canadian artist, Prudence Heward (1896-1947) and some of her friends, including Group of Seven member, A.Y. Jackson, which exclusively feature Brockville and area scenes.

The exhibit runs until October 9th. Please note that in-person museum visits must be pre-booked.
