About

This new exhibition from the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum (CAFM) was developed as part of CAFM's food literacy initiative. The exhibition highlights the role science plays in delaying food decay and keeping food nutritious and safe for us to eat. This bilingual exhibition is suitable for all ages and offers menu items for both the mind and the imagination.

Originally launched in 2013, and developed with support from partners such as Nestlé Canada, the Government of Canada and Bernardin Ltd., the exhibit has enabled the CAFM to bring this new exhibition and food literacy programs to audiences in the National Capital Region and across Canada. A Taste of Science also features artifacts from the Chatham-Kent Museum, Ridge House Museum and Milner Heritage House and fun interactive components.
