About

Hula Hooping is a fun form of fitness that is accessible to all ages, body shapes and fitness levels. This workshop will teach the basic body movements needed to sustain a hula-hoop. Hoops are provided and include an array of sizes and weights that are tailored made to serve adults, youth and very young children. Karla Kloeble aka Hula Hoopster has been helping people learn how to hula-hoop for over 10 years. Currently, a 3rd year kinesiology student, Karla can break down the mechanics of movement for participants to discover their hoop rhythm. Once we get the basics down, we will explore how to create simple visual illusions through prop manipulation skills.
