Program messages:
- Our understanding of human rights in Canada continues to evolve.
- Human rights have not always been upheld in Canada.
- People living in Canada have a responsibility to advance and protect human rights.
Groups of 20 students + 2 adults is recommended. There is no limit on the number of groups that wish to visit CMHR during this event although we would provide a short 5-minute introduction in Buhler Hall (located near the Main Entrance). The following 4 start time windows are: 10:15 am, 10:45 am, 11:15 am and 11:45 am. The duration of the visit is approximately, but not limited to, one hour.
Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is the first museum solely dedicated to the evolution, celebration and future of human rights.
