About
In conjunction with House for Sale exhibition, the MacLaren Art Centre has partnered with the Orillia District Arts Council to host an engaging talk by professional artists from the region and abroad. With ties to the Ukraine, these artists have continued to maintain an artistic practice as a vital way to express identity, culture, and a sense of belonging in the face of transition, uncertainty, and change. Through the creative endeavours and life experiences they will share, notions of home as a metaphor--a feeling of stability, or a lack thereof--will be explored. A 15-minute Q&A session will follow. All are welcome. Registration is required for this FREE event.
