About
Use drawing, writing, and collage to create your own zine. In this hands-on art class taught by artist Mary-Ann Alberga, learn how to fold and cut an 8-page zine using printer paper. Fill the pages with whatever you like—poems, stories, pictures—and then make a copy to share and trade with your friends.
Mary-Ann Alberga is a mixed media artist and arts facilitator who loves to use creative play as a way to approach to art making.
This Culture Days event is made possible with funding from the City of Burlington and presented in partnership with Elizabeth Garden Creative Collective.

Explore – Discover – Learn! That’s what Burlington Public Library is all about.
The Library belongs to everyone in the community and is free to join if you live, work, or go to school in Burlington. With six full-service branches across the city and a cozy collection in the rural hamlet of Kilbride, we’ve been a cornerstone of Burlington life since 1872. Central Branch, in downtown Burlington, features historical collections, a vibrant MakerSpace, and the imaginative DiscoverySpace for kids. Our branches are situated on Burlington Transit routes, and parking is free at every location. We are open every day except for statutory holidays.
We can't wait to welcome you during Culture Days 2024—come discover all that your library has to offer!
