About

WHO ARE WE?

This question, as short as it is, is difficult to answer. One would need more than 6 words to answer it... but we are sure that you are up to the challenge.

The Francophone Association of the West Kootenays (AFKO), in collaboration with the Nelson Public Library, the Okanagan Regional Library in Revelstoke, and Salmo Valley Public Library, invite you to enter a bilingual 6-word story contest based on the theme of cultural identity. You can either write it in English, in French, or both!

How to participate:

As of Sept. 25th, you will be able to submit your story through an online form. Keep an eye out!

Your story could appear on AFKO's website (www.afko.ca/culturedays), in the Nelson Star and Rossland News, AND being exposed on the windows of AFKO's community center and participating libraries.

Ready. Set. Write!
