About
Visit us at the Maple Ridge Museum this Culture Days season! Explore our 110 year old heritage home while viewing fascinating artifacts from our community's history. Learn about the diverse multiculturalism of Maple Ridge, the original founding communities, and the extensive industry that built our city. Don't miss the incredible train diorama downstairs too! Re-created from photographs, the model represents the community of Port Haney as it was in 1920. Check our website for up to date opening hours. Admission is free!

Maple Ridge Historical Society
Dedicated to preserving local history since 1957, the Maple Ridge Historical Society operates the Maple Ridge Museum and the Haney House Museum. The Maple Ridge Museum has been open, just off Haney Bypass, since the early 1980s and it houses a permanent collection, a temporary gallery, and an incredible train model of 1920s Port Haney. We preserve and maintain a large collection of historic artifacts, photographs, and archival records, while engaging the community through special events, educational programs, and outreach opportunities.
