Raiden Taiko Drummers
Raiden Taiko Drummers are members with the Kamloops Japanese Canadian Association (KJCA). The group formed in 2004 and their name represents a mythological God of Thunder and Lightning (Raiden) and big drum (Taiko) capture the essence of this group.
Now in their 20th year, there are three original members, are now in a transition period of teaching the history of taiko, drills, and songs to all genders and ages.
Raiden Taiko continues to grow and develop under the principles of KJCA Mission Statement: To advance Japanese Canadian cultural awareness and personal growth and development through Taiko drumming in the interior of BC. https://kjca.ca/
