Literary Spotlight - Tracy McGlynn
Date and time
Regional Municipality of York, ON
Offered in English.
The Markham Arts Council is proud to feature talented artists both locally and from around the world with this digital Artist Spotlight program! Since launching this series in Fall 2021, the Markham Arts Council has featured more than a dozen artists who have shown their still life’s, landscapes, animal drawings, and abstract art, among other genres.
In this special Art Spotlight feature, we're proud to showcase literary artist and author Tracy McGlynn
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Tracy is a Paramedic for Toronto. She lives with her husband and two fabulous children in Markham. She started writing as therapy after a brain hemorrhage at work kept her home on disability. Tracy began her artistic journey by creating/writing TV shows, comical sketches, and stories. Maggie the Muskie is the only book or piece of work up to now that has been published. That won't slow her down though! She has another story already in the works. It's exciting to see the story of Maggie the Muskie come to fruition.
