About

Was life really as genteel as it’s portrayed in Jane Austen’s novels or in the new hit series Bridgerton? What kind of undergarments did people wear, how often did they bathe, and how did they use the “facilities” when confined by stays?

Get a revealing look into what it took to dress and present oneself in polite Georgian society.

Everyone is invited to partake in a period promenade to close the program. Period costume is encouraged.
