About

Memory Mapping invites people to explore their personal connection to Paris through place and story. Each participant receives a printed map of Paris, plus guided prompt sheets to support reflection. Using the map, participants will select 3–5 meaningful locations and write reflections inspired by them. Participants will leave with a personalized “memory map” that brings together place, story, and identity.

Wordkind

Shannon Szabo-Pickering is the founder of Wordkind, a Brant-based stationery boutique that has grown into a creative studio exploring writing, memory, and clarity. What began with thoughtfully curated tools for reflection has evolved into workshops and original experiences that help people organize their thoughts, discover meaningful connections, and see familiar places in new ways.

She is also the founder of The Kindness Card Project, a community initiative that has shared more than 750 handwritten messages of encouragement throughout Brant and the surrounding area.
