About
Come play a new game with people from the community that we are calling County-Down, a County of Brant version of the popular British Game Show Countdown.
Attendees will have the option of being a "contestant" paired with a local celebrity. Audience members will get to play along and if they can outperform our contestants and experts.
Countdown consists of Letters Rounds and Number Rounds. In letter rounds, contestant pick 9 vowels or consonants (min 3 vowels and 4 consonants). Your objective is to make the longest word. A point is scored for length of your word. A 9 letter word receives double the points.
In the Numbers Round, you pick 6 number in combination of small or big numbers. Small numbers are 1 through 10 and large numbers are 25, 50, 75, & 100. A random number generator will be used create a 3-digit target between 101 and 999. Your objective is to use mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and brackets) to get to that number.
