About
Get to know your local artists and welcome two new artworks to the Fleetwood neighbourhood.
"The Frasers" by Laara Cerman is Surrey's first creative bike rack. Its simple yet symbolic design references Fraser Highway, the Fraser River, a Fraser fir tree, and Mount Baker.
"View from the Top" and "Lifting Hands" by Chito Maravilla is a two-part artwork that also functions as a gate and wall panel on a new park washroom at Maple Green Park.
Learn more about these recent artworks at this free artists' talk with Cerman and Maravilla in the Meeting Room of Fleetwood Public Library. All ages welcome.
