About

In honour of Culture Days, we are looking for submissions from Delta residents answering the question, “What Culture Means to You?”

Culture can be defined as the characteristics and knowledge of a particular group of people, encompassing language, religion, cuisine, social habits, music and arts. But Delta wants to know how you define “culture”! It can be a sentence, a paragraph, a photo, a video – it’s up to you how you express yourself. We want to hear your stories - be creative!

We’ll feature some online during Delta Culture Days. The rest we plan to use and display in other Cultural activities and events in Delta – you might even see your submission displayed at the Douglas J Husband Discovery Centre.

If you would like to participate in this project please email [email protected]

To be eligible, you must be 18 years of age or older and live in Delta.

Organizer

City of Delta

Delta is home to a population of approximately 100,000 people. We pride ourselves on our past and our sustainable future. With the support of a strong farming and agricultural foundation, Delta has grown into three thriving communities: Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta. We are a vibrant municipality that is rich in soil and water, rich in history and industry, and especially rich in people and culture!
