About

The City of Thunder Bay's Youth Move program will be hosting an open night to showcase their mural inside their Kinsmen Youth Centre that showcases art work designed by the youth of Thunder Bay in consultation with artist Shelby Gagnon. Over a series of workshops throughout the summer of 2024, Shelby consulted youth attending the Youth Move program how they want to display a Day in the Life of You/th in Thunder Bay. They worked on sketches, vision boards, notes and other methods of brainstorming to come up with a vision for a mural that showcased all their ideas.

To view this mural during Culture Days, visit our Kinsmen Youth Centre at 609 James St. N where youth will greet you and orient you to the mural that they proudly supported the design for.
