REFLECTION III-CHANGE-2020 is a continuation of REFLECTION II-2018 and REFLECTION I-2016.

It opens September 24, 2020 at the Holcim Gallery, FirstOntario Arts Centre, Milton, and is available for viewing in adherence to COVID-19 guidelines.

Barbara Ariss-Stroh-Wasser was born in Eastern Europe, educated in Western Europe and came through marriage to Canada, where she lived most of her life.

As a CONCEPTUAL VISUAL ARTIST, she explores the relevance of the past to the present and future of global societies and the strong influence of technology and of all fields of sciences. This requires CHANGE FOR SURVIVAL.

This exhibit emphasizes CHANGE FOR THE BETTER. The onlooker is encouraged to evaluate the events of the past, assess the present, and support as a GOOD ANCESTOR POSITIVE CHANGES for future generations.

Ariss-Stroh-Wasser’s work is installed in groupings that deal mostly with climate change and emotions. The work speaks to individual and group contributions as we collectively move forward life on this planet, while exploring the universe and its role for future generations.
