About

Come join us for QB Reads 2021 - an annual presentation series that celebrates local writing and creativity. This free event offers locals and visitors a chance to meet one or all of the featured authors and learn about their work and personal creative journeys.

Once a month from June to September we will be featuring a different local author. Our feature author for the month of September during culture days is Nick Raeside, author of Slashburner: Hot Times in the British Columbia Woods .

Weather permitting, the presentation will take place outdoors in the museum gardens. As there is is limited seating, please call ahead to reserve your seat! (Phone: 250-752-5533).

Organizer

Qualicum Beach Museum

We are a community museum that strives to promote the cultural and economic development of our community.

Our mandate is to acquire, preserve and present its social history, natural history (paleontology), aboriginal history and archival collections, in a manner consistent with its resources and capabilities, to promote the interest, support and involvement of area residents and visitors and contribute to the cultural and economic development of our community. The collections, operations, and programs, along with our rejuvenated museum facility, will be consistent with the high standards and progressive approach expected of a community museum.
