About
Nature Tales and Trails
Join us for a fun and family-friendly Ontario Culture Days event on Saturday, October 3rd from 1–3 p.m! Spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful Mt. Pleasant Nature Park, bird watching and enjoying the interactive storybook walk designed for all ages. This multi-generational event invites children, parents, grandparents, and community members alike to connect with nature, discover local green spaces, and learn more about the wildlife that calls our area home.
After your walk, return to the park pavilion to create your own bird feeder, with options available for varying ages, abilities, and interest levels. Borrow a pair of binoculars and try your hand at birdwatching while learning about native bird species and local habitats. Registration is encouraged to ensure a bird feeder is reserved for you, but drop-ins are welcome to enjoy the parks, activities, and afternoon outdoors.
