About
The Come and Create event is based around three flash workshops, where participants will get to make and take works of art they create in three 45 minute sessions. The first session begins at 2pm, and the last will conclude at 4:30pm. In one fun-focused afternoon, participants will learn calligraphy, create a painting using unconventional tools and decorate a reusable gift bag. This free event will be held at the Harriston Trail Station on Saturday, September 28 and is open to artists of any skill level over the age of thirteen.

Megan & Peggy Raftis
Megan Raftis- Megan is an engaged and active participant in her community, most proud of her work with the Minto Youth Action Council and the Grey Wellington Theatre Guild Summer Youth Productions. At the theatre, Megan has many years experience trial-and-erroring her way to DIY glory- or at least to performance-ready props and costumes!
Peggy Raftis – Peggy, currently the chair of the Minto Cultural Round table, is an avid participant in and staunch supporter of artistic endeavours in her community. She has participated in both the Cool Cones and Trendy Trains Public Art contests as an artist, and is the president of the Grey Wellington Theatre Guild, as well as an active participant on and off stage. Her artwork can be often be enjoyed as part of the sets for GWTG Summer Youth Productions.
