About

Moez Murji is a Brampton-based artist that specializes in mixed media forms. He will be connecting with guests to demonstrate how they can ignite and channel their own artistic flair through various mediums. A live workshop will enable guests to see firsthand some of the skills and techniques used in Moez's creative process. Templates and tools will also be made available onsite for guests to create their own 'mini masterpieces' as they engage and collaborate.

Moez Murji

Moez Murji is a self-taught Canadian artist that has been working with mixed media for over 35 years. From old vinyl records to dried beans, Moez promotes 'sustainability through art,' and enjoys experimenting and pushing limits to bring his visions to life. Specializing in abstract art, calligraphy, collages, dot art and mosaics, Moez's work has traveled in cultural exhibitions across the country. His recent capsule collection, "Wading Wanderers," highlights the importance of environmental protection through turtle imagery and is currently on rotation for display in Brampton libraries.
