Directions: Brampton Library has eight locations. Due to COVID 19 health restrictions, we are unable to host the activities at our branches. However, we invite you to join us at our virtual platform to enjoy Culture Days online presentations from our talented community.

Virtual Family Music Class

About

Join us for a FREE, fun Music Together family class, appropriate for children aged 8 months up through 4 years.

Get your silly hat on, clear a space in the living room to move around and get ready to sing, move, and play!

Start by downloading the 'Hello Everybody' app from your local App Store, and listen to it as much as you can during the days leading up to your class - we'll be using this music, and your kids will have more fun if they know some of it ahead of time! (...OK, you too!)

You'll also need to get some basic instruments organized from simple household items:

•Shakers (beans in small containers or plastic bottles)

•Rhythm sticks (wooden spoons, real spoons, or short/safe sticks)

•Mixed Instruments (pots, pans, anything musical!)

Don't know the words? Don't worry! Just la-la-la and do-do-do the whole way through - the important thing is that your kids see you trying: IF YOU'RE NOT DOING IT, *THEY'RE* NOT DOING IT!
