About

QUEER FABRIC COLLAGE WORKSHOP This is a 2SLGBTQIA+ space for creating textile and fibre based, slow stitching style, collages; this is a beginner crafting workshop that incorporates design, mindful practice, hand sewing, crafting and more. No experience necessary and all levels of stitchers and artists are welcome, this workshop is open to all ages but anyone under 12 must be escorted and supported by an adult.

Slow stitching, sewing and crafting are so supportive for mental health, independence and autonomy and this 2SLGBTQIA+ designated space will offer another layer of community, education and connection for those it was created for. This workshop is as much about the process and the gentle creativity, as it is about sharing space as a community.
