Learn how to make wild inks and paint with plants! From acorns to sumac, wild grape to goldenrod, join us for a FREE painting with plants workshop. No art skills or green thumbs needed, just a curiosity about the natural world and the fascinating colours hiding in the trees, flowers, bark and berries of Quinte West. You'll learn how to forage for and make your own wild colours, and take home a plant painting of your own!
The City is excited to partner with Maker's Dozen, an independent content and digital technology studio based in rural Quinte West. Maker's Dozen blends art, technology, and nature to help clients bring creative ideas to life. Founders Kate and Neil's work encourages curiosity, creativity, and collaboration to build a more sustainable and connected future.
