About
Explore Burlington's Online Public Art collection online from the comfort of your own home. Public art is a force for placemaking - for expressing and evoking connections between people and places that are meaningful to community and civic life. Public art can take on a variety of forms and media. It can have functional as well as aesthetic qualities and may be integrated into a site or be a standalone artwork. No matter what the form, public art is an original artwork placed in a publicly accessible location created with the intention of reflecting and engaging the community. Public art helps to tell the story of our community. Burlington's public art collection is now available online and accessible from your computer, tablet and mobile device. Explore over 90 public artworks throughout the city. View images, locations and artwork information on Burlington's Public Art Map.
The City of Burlington continues to take appropriate action to prioritize the health and well-being of our community and staff. Our overriding goal is to keep the public and staff safe and help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
