Calling all movers & shakers!
We need YOU to be part of our "Centre Stage at the JET" performance. At the end of our pre-recorded performance on October 24th, we would like to showcase photos of local residents dancing in their local built and natural environments around Halton Hills AND across the country. Candid and professional photos are welcome - please submit to [email protected] by October 18th.

Which Halton Hills community or hamlet will have the best photos? Georgetown, Acton, Glen Williams, Norval, Ballinafad... we'll be keeping track! And we'd love to see dancers from all Canadian coasts take part. If you share on social media, don't forget to tag #HHCultureDays.

Meagan Speakman
Meagan Speakman is a passionate dancer, choreographer, and instructor based in Toronto, Ontario. She has 23 years of experience in various forms of dance, while specializing in jazz, tap, hip-hop, and lyrical. Recently she has begun teaching different techniques of dance fitness where she gains inspiration from cheerleading, burlesque and most importantly, body-positivity.
Her love of dance and choreography was sparked at a young age when she created and lead an all-female dance group, which successfully booked multiple performances and vocal artist back up dancing all across Toronto.
Most notably, Meagan has performed and choreographed for professional cheerleading teams in front of over 10,000 fans for 8 years, learning and excelling along the way. She has recently taken on the more advanced roles of Coach and Head Choreographer for the Toronto Rock Cheerleaders, as well as the Coach for the Toronto Wolfpack Dance Squad.
