Priscilla Gonzalez will share her knowledge about turning trash into treasure. Come find out how you can turn garbage into greatness! Puppets out of paper and plastic, pencil cases out of plastic water bottles, shoes out of cardboard, masks from plastic bags.

This activity is part of the Credit Valley Trail "First Steps along the Path" Celebration event. Guests only have to register once for all activities. To register, follow the registration link below.

Priscila Gonzalez

Priscila Gonzalez is a high school student with lots of experience in theatre. She is passionate about the environment and enjoys finding new creative outlets. By combining both her passions for theatre and the environment she turns garbage into everyday objects, art, puppets, costumes, and more. Priscila is also a participant in Ecosource’s Youth in Action- Credit to New Credit (YIA-CNC) program. YIA-CNC is a youth leadership program which is a collaboration between Ecosource and Mississauga of The Credit First Nation Biodiversity Council. Youth in the program take part in 10 workshops with Indigenous Knowledge Keepers and Elders as well being given support to develop their own community environmental Take Action projects.
