About
For this year's BC Culture Day Semiahmoo Arts Society is proud to present writers from South Surrey and White Rock.
This event aims to provide an environment for literary art sharing. Authors, writers and poets will be available to talk about their literary art and how they became authors.
This event is meant for emerging professionals and anyone who are interested in the literary arts.

Semiahmoo Arts Society
Semiahmoo Arts and Culture Society is a non-profit organization proudly established in 1974. The organization has provided the opportunity in providing arts and cultural services to South Surrey, White Rock and other local members of our community. We have successfully created sustainable employment for local arts instructors; and we offer affordable art education for all ages. The Turnbull Gallery situated at the South Surrey Rec Centre – is where our artists and members are awarded the opportunity to display their art selections at one of our many exhibit opportunities. Semiahmoo arts has also partnered with The City of White Rock to provide an Art on Display program which gives additional exhibition opportunities to local and non-local artists. Our arts non-profit organization is passionate about our members and artists. We genuinely take pride in collaborating with our artists to inspire and guide them into showcasing their talents and passion for art! Additionally our society provides facilities, curatorial services, and exhibition education while giving artist 80% of all art sales.
