The last hurrah of the festival will be a smorgasbord of entertainment for kids of all ages. Enjoy featured readings by Charlene Chua, Hilary Leung, Kai Cheng Thom, Danielle Daniel and Rina Singh intermixed with an animal show and music gallore. Browse the book fair for some new additions to your home library. Ideal for children 0-9 years old.

The FOLD Foundation
The FOLD Foundation launched the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) in May 2016 as Canada's first festival for diverse authors and storytellers. The first three festivals included events for adults and children. But in 2019, the May festival focused entirely on young adult and adult programming, launching its first FOLD Kids Bookfest held on Culture Days weekend. The Kids Bookfest celebrates amazing Kid Lit authors and features incredible stories and storytellers. Audiences can expect incredible speakers and dynamic performances -- and of course, LOT OF BOOKS. All FOLD events include an on-site bookseller, where you can explore amazing stories and have your books signed by all of our performers.
