About

Join us for a free, hands-on event as part of Cultural Days in Yukon. This session will help you learn how to care for your personal cultural collections. Whether you have family heirlooms, old photographs, traditional crafts, or rare books, this workshop will teach you how to protect, store, and document them properly.

Wilmonica, who is of Chilkat and Scandinavian ancestry, is an expert in caring for and valuing both private and public collections. She has many years of experience working with archival materials, cultural objects, and heritage records. Wilmonica is dedicated to preserving Indigenous and community histories and brings a wealth of knowledge to this event.

Everyone is welcome — collectors, culture keepers, and anyone curious to learn more. Feel free to bring an item from your collection to share or ask questions about. Share your stories, ask questions, and find out how to keep your cultural treasures safe for the future.

Light refreshments will be served throughout the day!

No need to register. Just drop by and join us!
