About

The public screening of film Kalinga, a 2021 Yorkton Film Festival winner of the prestigious Ruth Shaw Awards.

YFF is partnering with the Parkland Filipino Canadian Association to bring a diverse and multicultural film screening to our local audience, then there will be a discussion with the director of the film to answer questions and highlight any issues and ideas raised from the film.

Accomplished through presentation, recognition, professional and audience development; through the Festival’s annual Golden Sheaf Awards. The Festival provides a needed venue Canadian short films. YFF respects diversity through the Multicultural, Indigenous and Mental Health categories.
