About
Join us for a discussion of contemporary issues surrounding treaties with Allen Sutherland, also known as Waabiskhi Mazinazoot Mishtaatim, or White Spotted Horse. Allen is an Anishinaabe Saulteaux, from Skownan First Nation in Treaty 2 Territory and is of the Bizhiw doodem (Lynx Clan). He has developed a learning tool on Indigenous history called the Canadian and Indigenous Historical Timeline©, and is a resource on the history and cultures of Indigenous Nations of Canada. He is currently the life-long learning Lodge Keeper with the First Nations Treaty 2 Territory.
Organized in partnership with the Speakers Bureau of the Treaty Relations Commission of Manitoba.
