As part of Culture Days, Alliance Française Toronto is proud to open the doors to its autumn cultural season a rich program filled with discovery, meaningful encounters, and moments of shared inspiration.

Our 2025/2026 cultural season kicks off on September 13th, promising a series of inspiring meetings and artistic experiences. Between September 19th and October 12th, we invite you to participate in a free and engaging conversation:

Alliance Française Toronto

Founded in 1902, Alliance Française de Toronto (AFT) is a Canadian non-profit organization. It is part of the world’s largest cultural network the Alliances Françaises, established in Paris in 1883 by prominent figures such as Louis Pasteur, Jules Verne, and Ferdinand de Lesseps. AFT fully embraces its multifaceted mission: to teach the French language, promote Francophone cultures, and offer a gathering place open to the world.

AFT’s cultural season features a bold and eclectic program of over 100 events, including concerts, performances, lectures, screenings, artist talks, and exhibitions. Each year, the organization welcomes more than 150 artists from Canada, the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and beyond, all carefully selected for the quality and originality of their creative work.

By celebrating the richness and diversity of Francophone cultures, AFT has established itself as one of the most active and respected Francophone cultural institutions in Toronto.

Just steps from Spadina subway station, AFT offers Francophones, Francophiles, and the culturally curious a space for discovery, dialogue, and artistic expression. Its facilities include a dedicated exhibition area with a historical gallery (Galerie Pierre Léon) and a contemporary gallery opened in 2019, as well as a 147-seat theatre with excellent acoustics, inaugurated in 2014.
