About

Scottish Highland Dance demonstration by JS School of Highland Dance Milton.

Highland Dancing is a form of dance dating back to the 11th century in the Highlands of Scotland. It can begin at an early age and is a superior form of physical exercise that promotes personal grace and precise muscle control. Dances are performed to bagpipe and upbeat celtic music. Highland Dancing develops a sense of rhythm and co-ordination and offers an enjoyable disciplined art form.
