About
Every two weeks, our host will engage in conversation with artists and how they use their platform to tackle anything from taboo topics in Sex to how to express yourself through music!
In Episode 1 we get up close and personal with Shane Sable, founding member of the Indigenous Burlesque Group Virago Nation.
Shane Sable is a 2spirit Gitxsan artist and activist who has been prowling stages across Turtle Island since 2011. Dedicated to community development, Shane is the Convening Member of Virago Nation, Turtle Island's first all-indigenous burlesque collective.
You can join Shane later in the Artivism programming for a digital writing workshop on Decolonial Self-Love.
