About

Join us for a beginner’s embroidery workshop for Culture Days! Embroidery is a beautiful traditional handcraft that has been practiced for many years. We will learn basic embroidery skills from Melanie Hiske, a talented embroidery artist. Along with learning the skills of embroidery, we will work together to create a welcome wall hanging, where we will stitch the words of welcome in languages that are unique and special to our community! Our finished work of art will hang in the Ogema Public Library for everyone to appreciate and enjoy! We are hosting two workshops, one on Friday and one on Saturday. If you would like to attend, please call or text Sheri at 306-861-8140 to reserve your spot. This workshop is geared for older youth, teens, and adults.
