Let's celebrate the coming harvest season with sustainable and local food, craftsmanship, art and live performances. Also shop the vendor market, explore the park, tour the farmhouse and do some crafts.

Historic Stewart Farm and Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House

Historic Stewart Farm is an early 1900s farmstead lived in and worked on by newcomers during Surrey’s formative years. It is now a destination heritage site, offering a family friendly connection to the past through hands-on activities. Nestled on the river within the trees, it’s a scenic location for a walk, a paddle or a picnic. When you listen closely, you hear the many voices layered within the history here – the Semiahmoo People and the ancestral Snokomish, the Stewart family, farmhands, and birds who call the forest home.

Dedicated to Indigenous cultural practices, Totest Aleng: Indigenous Learning House is a place to create, learn, and connect. It includes an open-air pavilion where Indigenous-led workshops, events and school programs take place. There is an artist studio for artists-in-residences to develop their practices and to connect to the public through personalized public programs. Indigenous artists, cultural practitioners and visitors alike will feel connected and inspired in this unique space.
