Join us for All The City's A Stage at Toronto Public Library branches during Ontario Culture Days! All The City's A Stage will be highlighting select Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts member companies to bring live-performance to your neighbourhoods. Bring a blanket/chair and your face mask for this OUTDOOR Pop-Up Performance, sit back, and enjoy the free show. All ages, everyone welcome!

- Live, in-person Pop-Up Performance

- Advanced registration not required, but recommended

- All COVID-19 protocols are in effect

- Audience members are asked to keep 2 metres of physical distance

- Wearing a face mask is recommended where 2 metres of physical distance cannot be kept

Under the Artistic Direction of Kevin A. Ormsby, KasheDance is an Afro-Contemporary dance company with roots in Toronto and branches connecting it to the United States and the Caribbean. The company is unique in Canada in its use of the Critical Response Process to create, research and present dances that give voice to the realities of African Diasporic experiences.

KasheDance explore and abstract Pan-Africanist based movement to help facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to performance; finding inspiration from visual arts, music, mixed media and spoken word.

For Culture Days 2021, KasheDance is excited to curate company artists and local artists for the Kultcha Live Yah Performance Series.

All The City's A Stage is produced by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA). TAPA is a leading arts service organization in Toronto that represents 92 professional theatre, dance, and opera organizations and is the proud producer of the Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognizes excellence on Toronto stages.

TAPA also runs the popular hipTIX program, which offers $5 tickets for students, making sure that theatre, dance, and opera in Toronto is accessible to youth.
